Recent Times ,in addition to the campus drives, MNC companies are coming up with new hiring models through conduction of competitions in coding, testing, security and in other technical areas. A distinct competition wing is functioning in each department, finding the right students and guiding them towards the winning directions to grab the jobs.

T&P is keenly observing the job market and has clear understanding about the rapid changes occurring in the industries of various fields, driven at faster pace by the automation of Jobs, which are repetitive in nature. This unpredictable change in the market creates the skill gap. Therefore the skill sets needed by the companies are not in line with the skills of the graduating students. To fill the gap, T&P is providing training in three dimensions is as follows

  2. Industry Orientation Training Model
  3. Life Skills Training Model

The Training and Placement office actively performs through the following four divisions:

  4. Facilities Division

Training Division:

Training Division aims to provide current industry oriented contents through different modules in the subsequent semesters in the areas of IT Infrastructure management & Security, Electronic Design Automation , Industrial automation, recent trend coding languages and creating exposure on emerging technologies like IOT, Big Data, Android , Cloud computing, Agile and Artificial Intelligence. The function of training divisions are

  • Organizing Employability Skill Development Programme
  • Intensive Vacation Training.
  • Communication Training.
  • Technical Training Model.

Placement Division:

Placement division aims to provides ability to work in cross-functional space, taking ownership of one’s action, adaptability in VUCA environment, to be all rounder instead of generalists or specialists, creating syndrome of can do, develops creative thinking & selling skills to suit the needs of the future workplaces. The function of Placement divisions are

  • Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)
  • Memorandum of Understandings (MoU)

  • Industry Orientation Training Model

Culture Building Division:

Culture Building Division creates a behavioral change in the students and the active functioning of various clubs, cultures the minds of the students and stays them in the new acquired skills. Students have experiential learning of Social responsibility through AKSA club, Human values & professional ethics through Honesty club, Professional Speaking culture through English Literary Club and Tamil Club, Motivation club brings power speakers to keep up the learning momentum and Arts n Rhythm club to express the talents of various arts which boosts brain power.

Facility Division:

Facility Division aims to provide all the requirements to the execution of the above three division.

  • Conduction of Training/Orientation sessions for selected students by the company
