Mailam Engineering College is known as the Best Anna University College in Tamil Nadu, it is a self-financing institution that was established in 1998 in Villupuram district. The Mailam Engineering College is purely approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with the Anna University Chennai. The college has both undergraduate and post-graduate courses for the students and there are six undergraduate courses and six post-graduate courses. The college is around 42 acres full of green landscaping with the temple. 201 students got University Rank in last 8 years and also 5 gold medalists as per the rank holders list of the Anna University. We are having an 86% of placement record in 2020 – 2021 many students are placed in Core companies and software companies. And every week we scheduled the 2hrs of sports and R & D coaching will relax the mind of the students. And nearly 3,700+ students got placed on campus in our college. And our college has 8 trophies in Anna University Zone 5 sports events in 2020 – 2021, and 91 medals in Anna University Zone 5 sports events in 2020 – 2021. ₹ 1 crore+ amounts were sanctioned as scholarships during 2020 – 2021.
